Data privacy

In accordance with the French Data Protection Act No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 as amended and the General Regulations on the Protection of Personal Data (hereinafter "RGPD") No. 2016/679/EU of 27 April 2016, Energy Observer Foundation, as data controller, guarantees the respect of the privacy of the Site Users.

The User, a natural person, is informed that the information that he communicates through the Site, either on the basis of pre-contractual measures or the execution of a contract for the purposes of customer relationship management, or of the legitimate interest pursued by Energy Observer Foundation in order to be able to respond to his requests, is intended for the authorised services of Energy Observer Foundation for the purposes of customer and prospect relationship management.

The treatments applied will be adapted to the purposes presented and accepted by the natural person.

For our newsletter, we use the platform of the company Net Hélium which adheres to the principles of the GDPR in order to guarantee adequate protection of the User's personal data. The data is hosted in France in a secure environment.

The collection and processing of information relating to the use of our site by the User by means of audience analysis tools (Google Analytics) is used for the purpose of making deductions regarding your interests, which will be useful for subsequent content selections and the improvement of your experience on our site.

During the consultation of the Site or the access to the online services of Energy Observer Foundation, the User may be asked to voluntarily communicate certain personal data (surname, first name, email, language of use). The collection forms on the Site specify in particular the purpose, the recipients, the storage period and the compulsory or optional nature of the data requested by an asterisk.

The personal data collected and processed on the Site are protected by appropriate technical and organisational measures in order to guarantee a level of security appropriate to the risk.

Site Users are informed that they have the right to access, rectify, delete, limit, restrict (where applicable) and oppose the use of data concerning them. The User may exercise these rights by filling in this form.

The User also has the right to file a complaint with the CNIL.

In addition, each e-mail sent by Energy Observer Foundation includes an unsubscribe link allowing the User to stop receiving our communications.

The Site Administrators are required to comply with the provisions of the French Data Protection Act and the GDPR, in particular by refraining from any collection or misuse of the personal data to which they have access.
